A newly built five star hotel stands in the centre of Dresden's historical old town centre, not far from the Residenzschloss.
The Schlosshotel Dresden project is the largest single piece of real estate in what is known as Quartier VIII and simultaneously represents one of the highlights in the extensive efforts to reconstruct the old town. Opened in April 2012, the architectural design reflects the original buildings and other, previously completed projects. The design creates a careful transition to modernism, and the different roof designs (double-pitch and French roofs), and their eave and ridge heights, were taken into consideration.
The Swissôtel Dresden Am Schloss has 235 rooms and suites, plus conference rooms for up to 300 guests, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The in-house catering services and a spa & sport zone located in a historical stone-walled cellar with vaulted ceiling round off this luxurious offering.
JORDAHL GmbH provided JORDAHL® JDA punching shear reinforcement and JORDAHL® JTA anchor channels for the Swissôtel Dresden Am Schloss project.
