We are at BAU – with innovative solutions for shell construction and technical building equipment

BAU is finally back and we are very pleased to welcome you in Munich from 17 to 22 April in hall A2 at booth 319. We are waiting with numerous innovations.

At the World's Leading Trade Fair for Architecture, Materials and Systems, we will show you solutions for your building project in almost all areas of our product portfolio: for thermal insulation, sound insulation, technical building equipment, sealing, formwork, facade and reinforcement.

Three innovations stand out in particular: with the optimised thermal insulation elements for balconies and impact sound insulation elements for spiral staircases, our H-BAU Technik brand can present two innovations at once. And based on its expertise in the field of technical building equipment and underfloor systems, the PohlCon brand PUK has developed the flush wall duct WANDA.

Flexible and elegant

The wall duct WANDA consists of three components: a base body, installation devices and trims. The 2.5 m long basic body is inserted vertically or horizontally into the wall and equipped with mounting rails. On site, it is completed according to the respective requirements with design panels made of stainless steel and freely selectable installation devices such as switches and sockets, but also operating devices for Smart Home or emergency lights. WANDA elegantly blends into modern room design and can also be connected to our screed-flush brush duct CHALI.

Sound insulation in the stairwell

Noise makes you ill, that's a proven fact. Noise that has a detrimental effect on health can also occur within a building – through poorly insulated floors, walls or stairwells, for example. Then the impact sound goes directly into the flats adjacent to the staircase. With the new impact sound insulation element SINTON® Q, we have now completed our product range for the staircase: The innovation is suitable for sound decoupling of stair landings and supported arcades as well as, in particular, of spiralled flights of stairs. The great thing about it: thanks to its reinforcement cage that can be tilted by up to +/- 8°, the element can be flexibly adapted to the on-site reinforcement. Regardless of whether the adjacent wall is made of reinforced concrete or masonry, SINTON® Q ensures planning reliability for both in-situ concrete and prefabricated staircases: the increased requirements according to DIN 4109-5 are far exceeded.

By the way, elevators can also be acoustically decoupled. Our innovative JORDAHL® elevator insulation JAI, which can even be retrofitted in existing buildings, will also be on show at BAU.

Optimised thermal insulation

Good insulation is also indispensable against heat loss and moisture damage when connecting balconies. With ISOPRO® 120, we present a new generation of load-bearing thermal insulation elements: with their 120 mm thick insulation body, they ensure improved thermal separation between interior and exterior components and guarantee a force-fit connection across the insulation joint. Whether cantilevered or supported building components, balconies going over corners or parapets – ISOPRO® 120 is available in different versions and can thus serve all common applications.

Let our products surprise you. We look forward to meeting you in Hall A2 at booth 319!

Whatever you plan.

We accompany you with expert advice, for every application. For day-to-day work in which much becomes easier and for increasing gratification in successful results.
